The reason we should cancel the entire student loan debt is because those loans should never have existed to begin with. Before the 1970s, we had near. tuition free situations in Florida, Texas, and California. This was a malevolent strain of capitalism reaching into the pockets of some of our most vulnerable citizens, people simply trying to better their lives by getting a higher education. Every other advanced democracy has tuition free higher Ed. We should too.

The reason why this is a lie is because there's no such thing as canceling debt. There's only transferring it to people who never took it on. Government intervention in the education system is the exact opposite of capitalism. 🤦 All you have is lies and easily debunked propaganda.

No loan standards. Why would someone ON THE SAME DAY be denied a $3K credit card but be GRANTED an $8K Parent Plus Loan. FAFSA only checks for recent adverse credit history, not debt ratio as "any other" loan would. Remove bankruptcy protections and you've got a nice #TRAP.

Dems think everything under the sun should be free. They don’t know how the real world works. I paid off my student loans homeless donating plasma. And it was a positive experience doing that MYSELF. If you sign an agreement to pay for a service, THAT’S ON YOU, not taxpayers!

Yes, please cancel student debt. Right after you get our money back from the institutions that created the predatory loans in the first place. Lots of people want the debt canceled, but nobody is talking about getting our money back. Why is that?
