You know what would really be a crime against humanity? Denying developing and impoverished nations the kind of development and upward mobility that oil and gas allowed us to achieve. You think erd world countries have the resources to implement wind and solar? Be honest...

If we stop extracting and billions die, that is also a crime against humanity.

That’s ridiculous and you know it. Fossil fuels are keeping the world as we know it operating. It will take several decades to even think about tapering off them. The world will starve without ammonia fertilizer which is a byproduct.

You care about people and are a spiritual legend, for which I am grateful, but your sense of importance and judgmentalness and self-righteousness is, on the other side, in my opinion, counterproductive. Rather than guiding people you are trying to force and shame them.

Stop tweeting. The plastics in your gear to access Twitter are made out of monomers coming from fossil fuel extraction. Will we still see you tomorrow, or are you just the next #FakeGreen #hypocrite ?
