Maybe this is all pointing to an awakening of the people. People self organizing, supporting and uplifting each other. I’ve seen a lot of this on TikTok and other videos. The government alone can’t do it and that old paradigm of top down government just doesn’t work

I agree. Do you still support UBI? Along with other policies such as single-payer universal healthcare, and a homes guarantee, I believe a substantial, scalable, unconditional UBI would help save many lives.

I’ve always believed that conservative policy works great federally but doesn’t effectively scale down. Democratic policy works great locally but doesn’t effectively scale up. We actually have to work together. We need a buffer or mediator between parties until we grow up.

A government which is NOT responsive to the basic needs of its citizens after a disaster REPEATEDLY loses its legitimate & its laws are slowly ignored. Either there is a HARD TACK LEFT IN 24 ,there will a revolution of some sort !Stochastic violence mirroring the troubles fits!

Myself, I've been looking at a lot of options to increase efficiency and response times over the years for myself, I salute those who took independent action to drop sandbags and take other actions previously that would certainly be a focus if I were to get into White House.
