The biggest problem is that whoever wrote this tweet didn’t even realize how outrageous it is. A one-time $700 assistance check to an entire household that just lost everything… Note that that is considered the “serious” people. If you’re not more serious than that about human suffering, then you’re not serious at all.

2. We're laser-focused on getting aid to survivors, including Critical Needs Assistance: a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time. We have staff on the ground dedicated to helping survivors navigate the registration process.

He reasons that $700 buys a lot of grass skirts and coconuts.

If Hawaii had promised the Biden family their customary 10% of the funds, Joe would have miraculously found more compassion in his heart.

Just when you think this posting has to be joke, you're appalled to find out it isn't.

$700 is a limit for FEMA. Have @SpeakerMcCarthy do something fema.gov/fact-sheet/critical…

You’re not serious about your information
The $700 is the max for the Critical Needs Assistance (CNA) benefit. It is supposed to be immediate cash for basics like food, water, hygiene, and medicine. It's not and has never been close to sum of the aid FEMA provides. You're not supposed to rebuild your house with it.

Well, that would be @PressSec ... she doesn't care, she gets paid royally for lying daily ...

It's about the immediacy of cash before FEMA is all set up. Who knows? But, so what, better Tweets is your promise to the people? Cheap, non-value-added shots. Always with the cheap Tweets.

This is just disgusting. Biden in no way implied that was the end of aid, just that it was a good way to get folks immediate help. And it’s more help than MW has given, or will ever give, to anyone in need of immediate assistance

If you are president that is all you will be able to give the people who lost everything. It’s a payment prior to FEMA and other money that needs approval.
