The biggest problem is that whoever wrote this tweet didn’t even realize how outrageous it is. A one-time $700 assistance check to an entire household that just lost everything… Note that that is considered the “serious” people. If you’re not more serious than that about human suffering, then you’re not serious at all.

2. We're laser-focused on getting aid to survivors, including Critical Needs Assistance: a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time. We have staff on the ground dedicated to helping survivors navigate the registration process.

Marianne, come on. You know this is in addition to all the other disaster relief we have in place. Citizens will get on average an additional $8k from FEMA (up to $35k) and then private insurance will pay out several more billion in claims.

Isn’t the $700 critical needs assistance written in laws governing FEMA?

All the people complaining about how $700 isn't good enough would be screeching "How are we going to pay for it?" if it was $7000 Biden does what is allowed by the system and he's a bad guy and if he were to go beyond the system he'd be a tyrant Give it up CROMAGAs

How about you, and your idiot sycophants just shut your lying goddamn mouths?

It was really something when Joe Biden suggested that the $700 could be used for prescriptions. Never leave big pharma profits out of a National crisis. Unreal.

Can we find some Ukrainians in Maui? Or maybe we can prove Putin caused the hurricane. Maybe then we can get the billions instead

Marianne Williamson is right. If @POTUS had provided a bullet list of the immediate help- already on the ground- along with some cash- I would feel more hope. But I watch people on the news pleading for help saying, 'where is everyone?" A few businesspeople started GoFundMe pg.

Shame on you. This is a prelude to billions(12) he will ask from Congress. The man isn't a king. He doesn't control the purse strings. Congress does. You did know that, right?
