This level of worker organizing is almost unheard of in South Carolina. The revitalization of the labor movement reaching the South like this means the rejection of a malevolent brand of vulture capitalism has gone from a whisper to a roar. Change is happening.

Publix will add more self-checkout lanes, robots to clean the aisles, and reduce their workforce. Well done, unions! Instead, Congress should ban corporations from replacing workers with bots.
