As a Jew and as a Presidential candidate, I can tell you it’s not in the interest of either the United States or Israel to continue to allow AIPAC to dominate our policies. Progressive Jews in America are well aware that the relationship between our two countries, as well as humanitarian values shared by both, are in conflict with systemic patterns of injustice toward the Palestinian people. Only when that issue is addressed can there be a lasting peace. #Marianne2024
House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries is in Israel with a delegation of @HouseDemocrats "reinforcing our strong and ironclad commitment to the special relationship that exists between the United States and Israel." Thank you @RepJeffries for your leadership! 🇺🇸🇮🇱 #AIEF2023

Maybe we could fuse Marianne and RFK Jr. Take Marianne on the Israel lobby, and RFK Jr. on Ukraine skepticism. Or we could just vote West and get it right the first time.

the ass-kissing and kow-towing to a right-wing increasingly authoritarian apartheid isreali "government" is utterly obscene. These so-called dem "leaders" should be ashamed of themselves.

He’s literally declaring Israel a religious ethnostate. What exactly are our shared ideals?

The Palestinian Arab issue was addressed in Peace Accords after which Israel withdrew all presence, including settlements, from Gaza & Area A of the West Bank allowing Palestinian govt. Now we are at the stage of needing to convince Palestinians to end violence as they committed.

Even if Israel weren’t human rights violators they still shouldn’t be involved in our politics. One of the antisemitic tropes of the pasts is that Jews were a nation w/in a nation and would always be loyal to Israel before the country they lived in (before there was an Israel).
