No, I disagree with you Marianne. I like you as a person, but this is not good idea. In my opinion, this would be a more divisive policy than electing Donald Trump as President again. We need less divisiveness.

There is no debt owed. There is no way one generation can make amends for what previous generations did. Those that were harmed aren't here and those who did the harm aren't here. People today are not responsible for yesterday's wrongs. Many people were wronged in the past from all races, by people of all races, who lived in the past, it's impossible to make it right. Reparations is merely a money grab by people who didn't earn it, from people who didn't do it.

When there鈥檚 money to be made? Never!
Addressing historical injustices through reparations is a complex and important topic. It involves reconciling with the past and striving for social justice. While opinions may differ, conversations like these push us to reflect on our shared history and the need for equitable solutions. Considering various perspectives and working towards a fair and inclusive future for all is essential. #ReparationsDebate
As a Black individual, I believe it's crucial to address the issue of reparations. The legacy of slavery and systemic discrimination has left lasting impacts on Black communities. Reparations can be a step towards acknowledging and rectifying this historical injustice. It's not about fostering guilt, but about recognizing that certain communities have faced systemic disadvantages that persist today. Reparations can help break the cycle of inequality, providing opportunities for education, economic growth, and community development. Let's discuss how reparations could be a transformative step towards a more just society. #ReparationsMatter 馃挭馃従馃攽

They seem to forget the cost of blood of over 600,000 died for that freedom, and think about the effects on these families for generations..it was a tremendous cost to end slavery.. do these families who sacrifice get reparation, where does it end?
