The reality is this is a grift for support for her underwhelming campaign for the Democrat nomination. Don’t fall for it.
You would never get a bill supporting this out of committee.

So as a Christian I guess that I should now get reparations for what the Roman’s did to us couple thousand years ago. All the crucifixions and murders of my people. Where are my reparations?

What about the 1st Peoples, the Native Americans? We R the Smallest Minority N our own Homeland. It was Safer 2 B a Slave, than an Indian, which is Y their population is now larger! 13% of us DON'T have RUNNING WATER! #NoTreatyUnbroken #MauiLandGrab!
These aren’t reparations we are talking about. Everyone involved in slavery is long dead. Calling the money reparations is political cover. What we are really talking about is making outsized wealth redistribution payments to a targeted community that is not doing well in our culture.

The problem is, there will never be a number placed on it because then once we reach it, it ends and that simply must not happen…

$500 billion won't even come close to the amount necessary to eliminate the racial wealth gap. Here are the numbers as explained by @SandyDarity and A. Kirsten Mullen. The nation's total household wealth is greater today than it was in 2018 (Reuters). reuters.com/world/us/us-hous…

What about Native Americans? Talk about needing reparations! I think if you are going to do this, you first have to start/w Native Americans and then eventually get to Chinese Americans who built the rail roads, and on and on and on.... I could use some reparations too!
