We could’ve had a world-class environmentalist as president in 2000. This will turn out to be - in fact it already is turning out to be - one of the great tragedies in American history.
The fossil fuel industry's hold over our political and financial systems blocks ambitious action on the climate crisis at every turn. We can't afford to put their false solutions ahead of a just transition to clean energy. Learn why in my latest @TEDTalks. ted.com/talks/al_gore_what_t…

I believe Bjorn Lomborg is correct that once we get a cheaper alternative the capitalist markets will take over and the switch will occur. He suggests subsidizing research and development of clean energy technologies. Dictated changes will hurt the poor the most. All prices go up

He said there wouldn't be ice in Antarctica in 2009.🙄 People are worried about feeding their kids, not an elitist agenda. Wouldn't expect you to understand- you're out of touch and maybe from the twilight zone.

Absolute BS. @algore as president would've been a disaster.

How can a world class environmentalist have a home electric bill 100x that of an average American household - not to mention all the massage therapists who have accused him of groping them? How can you defend a predator like Al Gore?! #ManBearPig

The same guy who told the world the Arctic would be ice-free by 2013? LOL

Actually we did elect a "world-class environmentalist" in 2000. But the Republican FASCIST Supreme Court with 5 Republican voting to stop the counting, 2 Republicans and 2 Democrats voting to continue the count. #1, 2, 3, 5, & 7 Conservatives to serve on Court in 5 majority.

Lol! What a terrible take. Al Gore is only an environmentalist as far as he can make money off of it…This is why a lot of people can’t take you seriously.

An environmentalist who has been wrong for over two decades. Literally wrong. As in, said things would happen that didn’t happen. His policies would have been based on factual errors, kinda like W.

According to your "World-Class Environmentalist" we all died years ago from the melting ice caps in 2013. What a putz.
