This should never, ever happen in the richest country in the world.
Today I met a young 25 year old man. He had a stroke out of the blue. Left side of his body became immobile. He lost his job at a warehouse and was evicted from his apartment for non-payment. He now sleeps in a park in his wheelchair. He's been waiting for disability for 3 years.

This should never happen: "A Course in Miracles says we achieve so little because we have undisciplined minds" (MW, The Miraculous Mind). Why would you want to teach that to a stroke patient?

We're not related but I agree with you. The corruption is so deep that its threatens a very fabric of our nation.

A country that is trillions of dollars in dept (and climbing) should not be considered "rich".

Lots of things shouldn’t ever happen here and yet they do, it’s time for a major shift in our focus, how we do things, and what we offer.

We are 30 trillion in debt. We are not the richest country.
