The reason Bidenomics isn’t exciting voters the way the White House expected it to is because it doesn’t stand for any fundamental change in the way our economy works.🧵

It tells people they will get more jobs. But it doesn’t tell people they will have healthcare. It doesn’t tell people they will get help with their college loans. It doesn’t tell people they will get free college or tech school. It doesn’t people tell people they will get help with childcare or union organizing or paid family leave or a living wage. It doesn’t tell people that it will save the planet.

Bidenomics is a Band-Aid on a broken aorta. People who work at the White House seem to have no clue the level of rage and despair that is out there (they call it a mental health crisis and fail to acknowledge its economic underpinnings).

This is 2016 all over again. And the same group of people are telling us that they have everything under control! We must not fall for that again.

It also doesn't manifest in people's lives. We can't afford basic things like food, rent, housing, car repairs, etc and we still don't have healthcare. People who work full-time are homeless and sleeping in their cars. Bidenomics is a f**king joke!

Free college...but ignore the public school system across this country that leaves many of the poor & minorities behind. Free college is a handout to white families driving a wider income gap. I'm going to keep coming after your racism in education. Know that!

It's exciting the 13 million of us who now have jobs as a result of investing in the middle-class

Bidenomics isn’t exciting voters in red states because their governors are causing inflation (Florida), grid problems (Texas), and exodus from anti-child and anti-choice laws. Those of us in blue states love the economy and are proud of Biden!

Some people assume a job means you get healthcare. It doesn’t. I’ve been at my job for two years, in management, department leader…I still can’t afford healthcare and housing at the same time. All getting a job means is you get to work your ass off so someone else can get paid.

Yes, it absolutely does. Stop lying and talking about things you clearly don't understand. Bidenomics is a dismantling of the whole "Trickle Down" nonsense that has ruled since Reagan. It's a major change. How are you so dumb you can't see the obvious?

Ma’am, your campaign is flopping. Maybe you’re not an expert on how things work.

The Bidenomics point of difference is not vs the past. t is vs @GOP vision of solving all problems by giving ever larger tax cuts to the wealthy. It is growing middle up vs the amazingly unsuccessful trickle-down. It is investing in America vs making biz more profitable.
