The people who lecture me on the importance of everyone rallying behind Joe Biden even in the primary tend to be those who: Have adequate health care, can afford to send their kids to college, can live on just one job, make more than $15/hr, aren't afraid their kids might get shot at a traffic stop, aren't rationing their insulin, can afford child care, and probably watch a lot of MSNBC. Most importantly, they do not make up numbers big enough to win in 2024.
