The people who lecture me on the importance of everyone rallying behind Joe Biden even in the primary tend to be those who: Have adequate health care, can afford to send their kids to college, can live on just one job, make more than $15/hr, aren't afraid their kids might get shot at a traffic stop, aren't rationing their insulin, can afford child care, and probably watch a lot of MSNBC. Most importantly, they do not make up numbers big enough to win in 2024.

Or those who understand the electoral system. If there was an actual electable challenger from his left, we’d all be paying attention. This year, there isn’t.

I campaigned for Senator Sanders for both campaigns over 8 + years and learned a few lessons from the experience. One is that big rallies or speeches don't equal votes if we don't turn everyone there into volunteers & get their commitment to vote.

No one should fault you for running in the Primary. You may well have my vote.

Biden wants all of those things. You pretending he doesn't isn't going to help him beat Trump. Congress needs to act on those things, and WE have not given them the numbers to do that. We need a bigger majority not a new president who has no plans.

Exactly. Biden supporters are also a rapidly shrinking group of people who are privileged enough to ignore and be unaffected by the government abandonment of those disabled by #LongCovid. I was literally injured by his administrations consistent minimizing of SARS COV-2.
