The people who lecture me on the importance of everyone rallying behind Joe Biden even in the primary tend to be those who: Have adequate health care, can afford to send their kids to college, can live on just one job, make more than $15/hr, aren't afraid their kids might get shot at a traffic stop, aren't rationing their insulin, can afford child care, and probably watch a lot of MSNBC. Most importantly, they do not make up numbers big enough to win in 2024.

You need to drop out. Your putting our public education, social security, and fundamental rights at stake with this vanity run. You’re the rich one - not us. #BidenHarris2024

Good points, Marianne. It would be great if the insiders of the @DNC could rekindle their party's belief in the theory and practice of democracy. It is only because the party cut itself loose from the public interest and the lower social classes that it faces the abyss that it does. @votekennedy2024 @CornelWest @GPEWCampaigns @tomfriedman @thomhartmann @NicholsUprising

Always healthy to challenge those in power; even within our party. This needs to be said. Things are not rosey as their narrative.

Well, I'm 71 as liberal as it gets, and don't fit that description. That's a pretty broad generalization. I'd like to think you could win, but you're not going to. The country isn't there yet. So, yes, it's crucial for all of us to get behind Biden or say goodbye to our democracy
