I agree. And tech school as well. The purpose of public policy should be to support people in thriving, giving them as much opportunity as possible to actualize their potential and pursue their greater good. Plus every advanced democracy except ours has tuition free higher education. The fact that we do not is nothing but a financial scam.

Too many people in power don't want an educated populous because they start to question the people in power. The poor are too busy trying to life to question, and the ignorant don't know to question.

Nothing is free. Somebody or many somebodies always pay. In that case, it would be taxpayers.

Eliminate in state and out of state tuition differences. Stop the guaranteed gov loans that give incentive to increase prices. Promote trade schools and trade internships. Much can be done with addressing and even reducing prices, instead of saying everything should be free.
