The political axis that defines our times is not between left and right. That is simply a smokescreen. The real dichotomy is between the powerful and the powerless, between those who have capital and easy access to capital versus those who are always struggling to survive. Our current system maintains the dichotomy, leaving a huge amount of suffering baked into the cake. Only an uprising at the ballot box (in addition to the resurgence in the labor movement) can change the calculus. #Marianne2024

You’re forgetting about that group that is not powerful but also not (yet) struggling to survive … guess there’s a reason it’s called the middle class.

Spot on. The age-old left vs. right debate often detracts from the core issue: the imbalances of power and wealth. A genuine shift requires recognizing these disparities and acting collectively to bridge them. Voting and supporting labor movements can indeed reshape this status quo. 🗳️✊ #PowerDynamics #TimeForChange

If it is a duopoly as you say, then why do you run within one of the two major political parties rather than as an Independent?? You say you want the voters to have the courage to see beyond left and right, so you are supposed to be the leader to set that example.

Marianne, this tweet is why your campaign seems so dated. Better: The dichotomy killing our democracy is elites dissociated from working families; and, working families angry at being abandoned by those they elected 😉

The Dems had an "uprising at the ballot box" and sabotaged the candidate, and if her book-tour candidacy ever gets traction they'll do the same to her.

There is no Left and Right unfortunately there’s only Right and Wrong. There is no magical bandaid to fix this , no fancy words or rosy sentiments. Young folks falling for this will regret it just like in 2016 however, I believe they are mostly smart and know what’s at stake.
