If this had been even five years ago I would have thought, "Well, maybe this is bit much." But at this point I think we should expect this kind of civil disobedience...and if we don't listen to these kids now, the disturbances produced by their frustration will get much worse. There's a lot of bravery in what they're doing and I respect it. They are right to think officialdom is ignoring the pleas of their generation, because it is.
BREAKING: we just shut down YET ANOTHER speech by US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, whose bank recently insured a $400,000,000 gas plan. Last time we confronted her she had us arrested & jailed. But we were not deterred. We came back. We always will. Respect us or expect us.

Why would we take advice from kids on such a complex issue? End Fossil Fuels is plain stupid. You can't make windmills, solar panels, and batteries without oil. Where would we be then?

It’s not a bit much. Not now. Not 5 years ago. But, yes, they are brave & should be respected. As things get more real, frustration & desperation will certainly elevate—globally. There will be a point of no return. I hope we don’t reach that point.

Thank you! But please note this isn't just cute young things who can't vote. It's also adults from 18 - 88, including hardened old bats like me who are calling for a full on #ClimateRevolution - 😃

This nonsense makes way more enemies than allies but kids will be kids.

If this had happened 20 years ago, I'd think it was nowhere near enough.
