I agree. Fossil fuel companies have known for decades the damage their continued extraction was doing to the planet, and they spent billions to disinform the public.

We elected people into government positions that allowed this over the years. Enough of us were not paying attention for decades, nor the generation before. We must elect strong, moral government officials for true oversight of the USA. We have to reverse course, like never seen.

If you believe that using fossil fuels changes the climate then you should also know that extraction is less than 10% of the lifecycle emissions. Over 85% is in the use and you’re using them right now. Stop using them and the companies will stop extraction. This is demand driven
