Migrants overwhelming our systems isn’t a problem that came from nowhere. Stems in part from decades of US policy in Latin America, created by arrogant policy-makers w/ simplistic notions of the world like kids playing legos at the cost of people’s lives. thecity.nyc/2023/7/31/238147…

Secure the boarder. Allow people in with family or friends already in the US so they won't be a burden on the tax payer. Then allow a certain number of people in. How many?? 100-500,000 people a year? At minimum cost to tax payers. Fingerprint or eye scan. so they pay taxes

Starting with the people who provided PR advice to Daniel Ortega in the ‘80’s, and cheered the rise of Hugo Chavez after?

Do “simplistic notions” include praising the American Dream in Venezuela? Or objecting to Hugo Chavez’ Plan Bolivar? Who had the better vision for Nicaragua & Venezuela? Ortega & Chavez? Or the American Presidents they hated? You see the result. At the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC

They made a stupid choice breaking the law to come here. Democrats don't give a rats ass about law and order.

WRONG! They’re coming from all over the world because you and your ilk encourage them to do so. Corporatists get their cheap labor and lousy social cohesion that prevents workers from organizing and your party gets more voters.

No, it stems from not securing the border & making it known that we will not secure the border. Most of these people were not homeless or political dissidents in their country of origin, but were encouraged to come here for a "better life". They were sold a lie & lost everything
