A critical mass of Americans realize a climate emergency is upon us. What is needed now is presidential leadership. Choice 1: someone heralding his green energy investments on one hand, yet approving the Willow Project and giving more oil drilling permits even then Trump with the other. (Biden) Choice 2: someone saying the way to handle the climate crisis is through “the discipline of the free market.” (RFK) Choice 3: someone declaring a climate emergency, canceling the Willow project on day one, leading a mass mobilization to justly transition from a dirty economy to a clean economy NOW. That last one would be me. #Marianne2024
MSNBC/Dem media won’t consistently report on climate because that indicts Biden’s bad policies (increasing drilling, pipelines etc) Fox/GOP media won’t report on climate because its core audience is deniers The result: 45% of Americans dont think we should do anything right now

Everybody should read her policy (before the other candidates start copying it). There is a fantastic intro at the top and then specific actions steps at the bottom of the page: marianne2024.com/issues/clim…

There are 9,000 leases approved but not in development. I believe congress passed a bill that leases be approved each time a green energy project is approved. 5 Auto manufacturers are currently building electric battery plants throughout the Midwest and South.

First Solar, the largest solar panel maker in the U.S., announced that it would construct a new solar panel plant in the Southeast, investing up to $1 billion. It credited the Inflation Reduction Act with making solar construction attractive enough in the U.S. to build here.

Technically I think RFK’s policy would create a mass mobilization, but the push would come from corporate incentive for profit as they can only profit from a clean business model.

You made choice 2 sound good.

Choice 4: Someone who see through all the lies and mass hysteria, understands climatology, and educates Americans as to why we need to adapt to a changing climate and be so maniacal and egotistical to think we can alter the global weather decades out-or even know what it will be

Focus on the corporate polluters…climate change & global warming are political slogans used to fool the middle class electorate into believing they are responsible for industrial pollution allowing govmts to impose carbon taxes while repaying lobbyists campaign donors.
