A critical mass of Americans realize a climate emergency is upon us. What is needed now is presidential leadership. Choice 1: someone heralding his green energy investments on one hand, yet approving the Willow Project and giving more oil drilling permits even then Trump with the other. (Biden) Choice 2: someone saying the way to handle the climate crisis is through “the discipline of the free market.” (RFK) Choice 3: someone declaring a climate emergency, canceling the Willow project on day one, leading a mass mobilization to justly transition from a dirty economy to a clean economy NOW. That last one would be me. #Marianne2024
MSNBC/Dem media won’t consistently report on climate because that indicts Biden’s bad policies (increasing drilling, pipelines etc) Fox/GOP media won’t report on climate because its core audience is deniers The result: 45% of Americans dont think we should do anything right now

Also Marianne, one thing you could do now, which is an elephant in all these so-called leaders’ rooms, is each one of us that can afford it— go hard into getting solar panels, EV’s, replacing gas appliances everywhere, and telling your story NOW that THIS is the time for people whom have means— to do this NOW. Economy of scale will then help those with less means to do so. We no longer have to wait on government to save us. We start now, and it’ll be even easier when you become Prez. Marianne you can do all of these things NOW. Your staff too, that can afford it. Then you can thank and applaud the rest of us, and there are many, many, if you look at the data, that have already done this leadership, and have helpes point the way. No more pretending that we’re democrats on climate change. The oil lobby advertising dollars have killed stories on the seriousness of climate change. So all we care about is our bitty little convenience. . Do we live in the era of simple personal convenience? Or are we adults and can deal with a TINY bit of sacrifice for a better world for our children? How long can we ignore this elephant in our room?

We need cheap energy to lift countries and people out of poverty, that requires more supply of natural gas and oil. Follow that by investing hard in nuclear for reliable base power. Then focus on solar as a supplement for the grid to drive prices down so more homes can afford it.

The arrogance of humans, thinking a cyclical planetary climate system can be "paused" at the "natural point of sustaining humans".

Very interesting. Finally a real candidate perhaps? Gotta ask the all important question though: M4A? I see you've had some position changes on it in the past. Can you tell us where you're at with it currently?
