Is @EricLevitz unaware that @marwilliamson is running? At certain point it’s a real credibility issue when a journalist writes a sentence like: “[Biden] faces no leftist challenger save Cornel West’s Green Party campaign.”

I wasn't aware that she identifies as a leftist. If that is the case, I will amend to "no serious leftist challenger." (I consider Williamson's candidacy unserious because of her dearth of both popular support and relevant experience.)

The fact that you don't know that "I identify as a leftist" means you have not looked to my candidacy at all. At 9% in national polls at this point, it''s not true that I have no popular support. That you personally feel I have no "relevant experience" - that therefore you get to determine whether I even exist as a factor in this election - makes your legitimacy as a journalist as questionable in my mind as my legitimacy as a candidate is questionable in yours.
