America’s medical debt is $88B, while the top five pharmaceutical companies brought in $80B in profit last year alone. The institutionalized greed of insurance and pharmaceutical companies is an economic plague on this country. We need single-payer universal healthcare, and nothing less. #MedicareForAll

This seems to be at the root of at least part of the issue you point out. Did you know that the pharmaceutical industry funding alone has become so dominant that last year it accounted for three-quarters — or $1.1 billion — of the FDA's DRUG DIVISION BUDGET. Yes, that is the agency that reviews all drugs before they are allowed to hit the market. Hmmm.... How many people know this? Did you know this? Now if someone were to call that out, do you think they might want them to be silenced? So the folks selling you drugs are primarily funding the agency that regulates them. Seems fair and trustworthy to me! There was an article written by the The New York Times - "F.D.A.’s Drug Industry Fees Fuel Concerns Over Influence. Single-payer universal healthcare is not not the answer. Proper and efficient services will not be available to those who need it.

Greed find’s a way to exist in everything in America. Why do they call hospitals after saints who lived humble lives. St.John’s St.Luke’s they didn’t drive Lamborgini’s.

I don’t want single-payer universal healthcare. I like my insurance plan and don’t want to have less access to care with your “plan”.
