A president who has given more oil drilling permits than Trump did -and who has approved the Willow Project - will not be declaring a climate emergency. Continuing to endorse him, excuse him, or pretend the one candidate who has said repeatedly that I WOULD declare a climate emergency does not exist, is exactly the kind of behavior that will keep us stuck on the climate trajectory we’re on now.

The opportunity cost of the #InflationReductionAct was everything. It literally cost us everything we had left.⌛️ It was our last chance for Congressional action on #climate for a decade, and Democrats pissed it away while becoming the proud party of record oil and gas export.
