Medicare Advantage denied me coverage because Advantage coverage was not in the state I moved to following hospitalization. To have coverage I would have ad to wait until the new "sign up" year, so this time no Advantage coverage, and I still owe over $2000.

Medicare costs me $165/mo..... so much less than I paid with ACA, and just about what my 41 yo ex husband pays. And my supplement is $0. So this works for me.

you cant work within a broken system you need to change the system to make it work. Private companies will always abuse the system to make money that is their nature.
