I used to take three hydrocodeine a day. Never got addicted. Now I just have to suffer tho drs want to give me gabapentin, a horrid drug which is more addictive than hydrocodeine and has terrible side effects.

Decriminalization isn’t an intermediate step by itself, it’s the worst case scenario for overdoses without availability. A middle step could be a federally available HAT, or something similar.
