People “experienced in government” gave us: the Iraq war; 20 years too long in Afghanistan and a spectacular failure at procuring its future; abuse of the planet so great our grandkids might not even be able to survive it; the largest income inequality in 100 years. 1/2

What we need is people “experienced” in calling out  unjust systems and mounting a serious challenge to them. Our problem is not that we don’t have enough political car mechanics; our  problem is that we are on the wrong road. 2/2

And socialists killed 20 million in the Soviet Union, 80 million in China, over 3 million in Yugoslavia. At least in America, fat people still die from obesity. You'll bring famine.

Check your political vote theory. Any time you draw a line to divide people, your opponent draws a new line just inside your line, on the side where 50/50 is. Corollary... Drawing 2 lines, thinking you take the middle, exclude both fringes, fails by opponent taking one fringe.

This the problem with politics, even the most practiced spiritual teachers can fall prey to the practice of fear mongering. Regardless of the validity of your points, using fear is not noble.

These people in government (and media) are experienced in accepting bribes and direction from their corporate owners, then delivering billions in payoffs to Wall Street in return, at the expense of working people. In government, experience equals corruption.
