People “experienced in government” gave us: the Iraq war; 20 years too long in Afghanistan and a spectacular failure at procuring its future; abuse of the planet so great our grandkids might not even be able to survive it; the largest income inequality in 100 years. 1/2

What we need is people “experienced” in calling out  unjust systems and mounting a serious challenge to them. Our problem is not that we don’t have enough political car mechanics; our  problem is that we are on the wrong road. 2/2

Inexperienced or don't know how to get 60 votes in the Senate, otherwise they would be telling everyone how they expect to accomplish their platform.

I generally agree with you. But "20 years to long" suggests you don't think it was a crime to invade Afghanistan.

People experienced in exactly the archaic moribund corrupt government we currently have should never even be considered as viable candidates to create the 21st century government we so desperately need. They are fundamentally incapable of doing that job.
