Americans are realizing the size of our military budget does not correlate to an increase in our “national security.” Iraq War did not make us more secure. 20 years too long in Afghanistan did not make us more secure. 750 military installations around the world do not make us more secure. Buying more military equipment that isn’t even made here and isn’t even the smartest use of our dollars does not make us more secure. Nope. It just makes military defense contractors wealthier. #CutTheMilitaryBudget by 20%.
Pentagon budget proposed for FY2024: $886 billion / $146 billion higher than when Biden entered office. (Makes us less safe) Cost of the $600 checks from Dec 2020/Jan 2021: $141 billion. (Lifted millions out of poverty) Just FYI.

I honestly didn't think we needed the military budget we have until Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine. That was when I realized, for the first time in my life, that evil still exists in this world. Imperialist countries like China and Russia are a serious threat.

Americans pay too much in taxes. What are your plans to reduce the amount of money the government steals from my paycheck to waste on unnecessary garbage?

I believed you four years ago. But the world is changed. Apparently there are murderous dictators like Vladimir Putin just waiting for us to look away and then BAM!

And they have the nerve to balk at reparations.

Eisenhower warned us before leaving office of the building up of the Military Industrial Complex and here we are. War does not bring peace.
