I strongly denounce comments made earlier this week by RFK Jr. implying that Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese were relatively "spared" by COVID-19, while Caucasian and Black people were specifically targeted. Whether intentionally or not, his remarks amplify sinister and unfounded notions that are both anti-Semitic and anti-Chinese.🧵

Kennedy’s “I’m only asking questions” use of the most anti-Semitic tropes is unacceptable. As a Jewish American candidate in the 2024 presidential race, I stand against this covert racism writ large. Such language serves only to divide us further at a moment when we need desperately to unite.

I love your inspirational A Course in Miracles, and you have shown great courage in your life, but you also come across sometimes as sanctimonious, preachy and judgmental in my view. I know you feel you deserve more traction, and probably you do.

Ashkenazi Jews are a small group with a certain genetic makeup that is known. You’re not one. How is this racism? Stop perpetuating racism!

Nuance please. MW is correct to point out the dynamic. RFKjr is correct to clarify his point. Those pitting these points against each other don't seem interested in understanding antisemitism or rfkjr's campaign.

why not have a conversation with Kennedy?

Marianne, your ideas, and brilliant way your mind works would be better suited for the house. You don't have a chance to win as President. But you could be so effective and a congresswoman for starters. Please rethink your position in government.

“I’m only asking questions”….is the entire Fox/GOP propaganda mode. It’s insidious and prevalent.
