I strongly denounce comments made earlier this week by RFK Jr. implying that Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese were relatively "spared" by COVID-19, while Caucasian and Black people were specifically targeted. Whether intentionally or not, his remarks amplify sinister and unfounded notions that are both anti-Semitic and anti-Chinese.🧵

Kennedy’s “I’m only asking questions” use of the most anti-Semitic tropes is unacceptable. As a Jewish American candidate in the 2024 presidential race, I stand against this covert racism writ large. Such language serves only to divide us further at a moment when we need desperately to unite.

ooops he is sharing science and that should include and data on all races etc. that is how good science is done. think of all the big pharma studies done over the past 30 years ...... a recent evaluation of a random sample of 1000 Cochrane systematic reviews on various medical interventions showed that only 14 (1.4%) had proposed to perform race- or ethnicity-based subgroup analyses for treatment effects. Only 1 of those 14 analyses was completed but yielded noninformative results.4 Despite the poor performance of race as a measure, numerous passionate, burgeoning health professionals, many of whom are underrepresented in medicine, have been attracted to biomedical research, lured by life experiences to study with enthusiasm the interrelation of race and ethnicity with social and biological factors. Their work should go forward.

RFK, Jr. didn’t say that.

This is a ridiculous statement especially since we know the virus came out of a lab. Are you advocating for censorship too? We have plenty of that with the current administration, no need for you to run.

You want to continue providing lethal weaponry to Nazis in Ukraine and you believe in magic crystals.

If you seriously running for President, shouldn’t you focus on ballot access in all 50 states?

While I don't disagree, he's looking at it from a scientific/biological point of view. You are looking at it from an emotional/ancestral point of view. Both can be correct.

You had gained a lot of my respect in 2020, But you are quickly losing my respect in 24. You don't have to be this kind of politician.

Consider deleting. He clarified this. Was taken out of context as he discussed how different races were affected
