What is happening with the writers and actors strike signifies something much bigger than one industry’s woes. Like union efforts at Amazon and Starbucks and elsewhere, it represents another rumble in a gigantic earthquake. Together, such efforts will overthrow a paradigm by which a few with tremendous capital economically tyrannize those simply struggling to get by.
