The changes necessary in order to save our democracy and our planet from catastrophic decline are so at odds with official insistence that corporate profits always be our bottom line, that it will take a revolution in consciousness - and at the ballot box - to break the codependent cord that keeps us bound to deadly corporate tyranny.

From our health to our access to education to our ability to make a decent living to communities to our energy to our air and food and water quality to the state of the planet to foreign affairs, in the words of FDR, “It is time for the country to become fairly radical for a generation.”

..precisely why I’m voting for you next year come hell-or-high-water. For one thing, between extremism and apathy, it’s likely gonna take a near holocaust-level-event for people to realize the dangers of todays’ corporate and right-wing trends and policies – so I’m no longer afraid to give my vote to a viable alternative candidate. And two, I can no longer support candidates who accept the status-quo and the glacially-incremental policies inadequate to get us where we need to be.

I started following public opinion polls in the 80s and ever since then, 70 to 80% agreed that our politician are controlled by big money interests, so how is it that a candidate who has no chance of being elected saying these things helps us?

Many people have their savings invested in the stock market, which means they have a personal interest in the profitability of corporations. This must be taken into account because it will affect how people vote. How can corporations be more socially responsible is the question

Ok if you’re ONLY depending/focusing on voting (a liberal proposition that got us in this mess) and ignore/don’t contribute to building and growing Mass grass roots movements. We will be doomed anyways. Voting alone didn’t win Civil Rights or a New Deal. Don’t white wash history.
