Cluster bombs should never be deployed. They violate any humane standards of war.
Cluster munitions are illegal under international law. They scatter multiple (often unexploded) bombs over a wide area. Innocent people are still being killed by them in Vietnam 50 years after the war. This is why I am coleading an amendment with @SaraJacobsCA to block their sale.

There is nothing β€œhumane” about war. One school of thought is that war should be made so horrific that it ends quickly & decisively and that it will ultimately save far more lives. War is sometimes necessary, but β€œhumane” is no way to characterize it.

That is a true statement, as is penises, should never be in female locker rooms. So I have to find a different candidate.

β€œHumane standards of war”, never heard more preposterously constructed sentence. Different words will not allow me to post this.

I think that question was answered when "The first atomic bomb was dropped by the United States on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945". Nothing has changed, just be glad it's only "Cluster munitions" now days...

Decisions should not be made out of desperation!

So getting hit by part of a cluster bomb is worse than getting hit by a regular bomb? It’s war, it’s all a horror!

To the communist self-defense is a crime. If you don't like cluster bombs, tell Putin to end his invasion. The blood of his people is on his hands, not the people defending themselves. Pity for the guilty is treason to the innocent.
