We need to mass mobilize for a just transition from a dirty economy to a clean economy. Not later. Not incrementally. NOW. Approving the Willow project, giving more oil permits that even Trump did, is not even an incremental approach to saving the planet; it is an environmental crime against humanity. .@AOC endorsed Biden “given the field.” I’m challenging him given his policies.
Make no mistake: these floods, heat domes, fires, and smoke events are still just the barest beginning of Earth breakdown, and the damage is effectively irreversible. You have fossil fuel executives to thank; they chose this. In my opinion, billions of human lives are at risk.

I understand that most humans only care about humanity, but 8 million other species live on this planet and are counting on us. We are in charge of the only life in the known Universe & we're failing miserably to plan for a biodiverse, protected planet @ scale. @Rewilding

This "Transition" away from oil will starve millions of people.
Marianne, in the presidential debates you briefly mentioned the policy concept below. I hope you will give it a close look now, for today's climate situation. It's all about *certainty* in taking on fossil fuel emissions, safely. Solutions Journal, 2020: researchgate.net/publication…

Climate change is nothing more than an attempt of wealth transfer, biggest hoax ever perpetrated. The problem is we are destroying our natural defenses to weather. Rebuild the rainforest and stop building where we shouldn’t, problem solved.
