Pretending the problem is old people vs class is why I have no interest in supporting democrats, even “outsiders.” You’re openly celebrating the death of old people, many of them suffering from poverty like much of the working class.

Um, I’m 70. This is hardly about celebrating anybody’s death! It is, however, about recognizing that public policy today does more to thwart than to support our young people living their dreams. Forming a larger voting block, they will be able to advocate for themselves in more meaningful ways.

The issue isn’t voting because the problems faced by the masses can only be overcome by socialism and you can’t vote for that to happen. Old people may vote more but that doesn’t equate accountability. Just look at the state of things like social security.

You don't have to respond to him. He's part of a group of ppl known for being obtuse and lacking in self-awareness. Class and age are highly correlated but he'd prefer to misinterpret what you're saying to make himself feel morally superior and shut down any constructive dialogue
