Democrats are not going to win in 2024 by telling people that the economy is on the upswing. For the vast majority of Americans, it is not. We will not win by contradicting the visceral experience of the majority of voters. It is very tone deaf, isn't it? Like from a leftist perspective, I have never liked it when a politician tried to sell themselves to me on the basis of what they THINK they've done; what motivates me is what they WANT to do if and when they take office.

藡We can have a grievance or we can have a miracle, but we cannot have both. When we鈥檙e willing to overlook the guilt in our brother to the innocence which lies beyond, we are freed from the pain of guilt that we otherwise project onto ourselves麓 (M.W).How about a miracle then?
