They overturned Roe v. Wade. They ended Affirmative Action. Now they've rejected Biden's student loan forgiveness plan. Today's SCOTUS works to proactively diminish the rights and opportunities of the people of the United States. (Biden can get around this, by the way.) 1/2

As President, I will expand the Court if necessary. Nothing in the Constitution says it's limited to 9 justices. We must also introduce ethics rules for SCOTUS justices, and consider term limits. Our current SCOTUS has gone rogue in service to their corporatist sponsors.2/2

Term limits should have been imposed long ago. Gen X has been waiting in the wings-our parents were hippies. I stand with our children. This lurch to the right will have consequences.

What is the argument against Term Limits?

So when you don’t get your way (which you had two years to codify roe v Wade via unified government) you change the rules? Sounds pretty dangerous and probably unconstitutional.

I can't agree with you. Affirmative action has been proven to discriminate against Asians, hence racism. Student debt relief just punishes the middle and poor class taxpayers, and trivializes those of us who paid our student debts. Stop adding to our tax burden!

Would love to know which gemstone you’re going to put on the Resolute Desk that allows you, as POTUS, to unilaterally expand the Court.

There also needs to be oversight. Justices can't do whatever they want with impunity and avoid any sort of accountability.

How about 29? Unless Trump wins, of course. Then maybe we go to 5...

What constitutes necessary to you? I mean I can’t envision a more necessary time.

simp - expanding SCOTUS won't accomplish anything - pretty much every scholarly paper on the subject reaches that conclusion. while a 12 year term limit on ALL government positions will solve potential partisan entrenchment in the house, senate, courts within your 4+4 year term🤲
