The majority of "working people" in the country as a whole voted for Biden over Trump. It is the rural and red state "working people" who vote Republican not because of abandonment, but because they are less educated & brainwashed to vote on social issues over economic issues.

Landscaping, construction, mining, Trades, manufacturing,...Last I checked they all fall under the category of laborer positions.
