💎Jews have always lived in Judea and Samaria, but 13 days after the attack on Israel on 15 May 1948, the Jewish part of the Old City fell into the hands of Jordan. 💎On May 28, 1948, the Jordanian Legion Commander reported that: “for the first time in over a thousand years, Holy Jerusalem is cleansed of Jews, not a single Jew is left. 💎About 2,000 Jews were expelled from the Old City and 58 synagogues were destroyed. During Jordan's illegal occupation, Jews were denied access to their holy sites. The entire Judea and Samaria was empty of Jews. 💎International law prohibits discrimination against people based on race or ethnicity. An exclusion of Jews in Judea and Samaria because of their Jewish identity would be a violation of international law, which Jordan violated during its illegal occupation. 💎Therefore it is a paradox to call Jews illegal settlers or occupiers. #Israel #Jerusalem #WestBank #Jordan
