Today’s Supreme Court decision barring Affirmative Action in college admissions is an unfortunate step backward in America’s commitment to social justice. But the deeper problem is that such programs should have ever been necessary to begin with. 1/2

Systemic racism begins in early childhood in the United States, and dealing with it there is how we will override the deepening racial injustices only exacerbated by today’s decision. Unequal opportunity in childhood education is where the problem begins and where we will ultimately solve it. 2/2

You can’t be serious. It was absolutely discriminatory and unfair towards Asian people. It’s a step back in the right direction.

Govts job is to mind the business we the people elected it to do and not promote self disgust of its own nation. I bet this old air bag would preach self acceptance to her minions yet turns around and problemitizes every aspect of this Constitutional Republic so she can save it.

Just make higher education and training open to every student who wants to go. Tuition free. God knows we need the doctors, scientists, researchers, designers, engineers, etc. It's a smart investment in our future with enormous returns. Neoliberal austerity kills the soul.
