Antisemitism such as this, violent white supremacy and virulent misogyny do not go way; they’re just temporarily driven underground in certain times and places. Ignored and unchecked, all of them are deadly phenomena. Whenever and wherever we see them, we should stand up and challenge them in whatever possible way.

This evening, literal Nazis dared to show their true colors in East Cobb outside a synagogue, showcasing their hate for the whole world to see. Flying a flag that stands for genocide. My God.

In my rural school a kid once drew a swastika on his notebook. My history teacher went ballistic and did an uncensored unit on the holocaust (even though it wasn’t scheduled for that year). She had the whole class (even swastika kid) sobbing by the end. God bless Mrs. Benson.
