Norfolk Southern detonated five train cars full of toxic vinyl chloride in East Palestine - for no reason and with no permission. They should have to do way, way more than just pay a fine. 1) Norfolk Southern should be forced to set up a fund paying for the medical expenses of all people affected by the incident for years to come. And 2) Norfolk Southern should be criminally charged with negligence and public endangerment. We must not let this go. Only the public holding onto it keeps state and federal government from being able to sweep it under the rug and move on. (If Biden could go to Ukraine, he could go to East Palestine,)

Thank you for your voice on this. I hope to get you and @RobertKennedyJr out here to debate on the river to raise money for my people. We do not need the @DNC permission. We are trying to lead it, not it lead us. Working people stick together #manalakos2024

Since corporations are people, if any cog in a corporation is found guilty of a crime then the entire corporation (employees and shareholders) should be sent to prison. It is the only sensible thing to do.

Understand that the PSR policies at NS that led to this disaster were orchestrated by the Board of Directors, staffed by… Blackrock and Vanguard These hedge funds have been responsible for a lot of misery in this country. They influence regulation and then profit from it.

I was listening to newscasts (NPR and Austrailian Broad. Corp.) as this was happening, and I couldn't tell you that the firefighters were with NS. If I recall, the FD burned it off in a ditch to prevent a larger, even worse explosion. But NS did fail, and I agree with both.
