You have no idea what you’re saying Marianne. First, you don’t just cancel a contract. Second, a lot of services these companies may provide will not be easily replaced. Stop the hyperbole.
The wealthiest want as much profit as possible & believe labor costs is the enemy. Executives want to be paid as much as possible & labor makes their pot/take smaller. Ego is also a big part of it, executives believe they're vastly more intel/vital than uneducated, idiot workers.
