A Canadian woman living in the United States was shocked when she compared the #ingredients in two #Heinz #ketchup bottles — one manufactured in the U.S. and one in Canada. Heinz Tomato Ketchup (America): Tomato concentrate from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, spice, onion powder, natural flavoring. Heinz Tomato Ketchup (Canada): Tomato paste (from fresh, ripe tomatoes), sugar, vinegar, salt spices ca.news.yahoo.com/woman-shoc…

In America you can opt for the corn syrup free kind in some stores… regular hines or “simply made” for a higher cost.

HFCS is addicting, they do it purposely for profit. HFCS also causes many health problems, so medical/insurance industrial complexes benefit too.

I will never buy Heinz or use a ketchup packet with these crappy ingredients for this very reason. There are plenty of better options instead of this junk. Until consumers wise up, the disregard for our health by these large food conglomerates will continue.

We need a popular movement against the sugar industry

Wow thanks for tackling the big issues, now could you maybe stop supporting nazis?

Ah yes....the HF corn syrup v. sugar debate. Which is 'worse'?? I guess it depends on which scientist you bought to push your agenda. The glut of corn in America is because of Round-Up ready field corn, and many farmers would go broke if govt. tried to ban it.
