When I was a kid my dad used to walk around the house saying, "Beat the system, kids! Beat the system!" It took me fifty years to realize how much he really meant that. He used to say something else that I find helpful these days: "Don't let the bastards get your down." (Thanks Daddy! I'm trying...💙)

For Marianne beat the system = drastically enlarging the system. Huge failure of logic. We need less government, not more. Less spending. Not more.

My Dad always said, "Don't ever lose your sense of humor." - More timely now than ever.

My dad used to shake his fist in the general direction of Washington DC and say “They’re all a bunch of crooks!”

Your dad sounds wise and ahead of his time, sounds like a good one! Raised one hell of a woman and fighter, too! Thank you for fighting for us Marianne!

Yeah, tell us when you will endorse the system by throwing your support behind Joe Biden next summer.
