This was not Iran, where the US and Britain overthrew the democratically elected Mossadeq and installed the Shah of Iran as our puppet. Did we meddle? Absolutely we did. But it鈥檚 not as simple as the narrative you鈥檙e proposing. So no, the issue of their sovereignty is not moot at all.

You're right, this isn't Iran. It's Ukraine, whose democratically elected leader was overthrown in 2014. In Iran, we just left the shaw in control and had CIA people telling him some pointers. In Ukraine the US is trying to cause a nuclear war.
