This was not Iran, where the US and Britain overthrew the democratically elected Mossadeq and installed the Shah of Iran as our puppet. Did we meddle? Absolutely we did. But it鈥檚 not as simple as the narrative you鈥檙e proposing. So no, the issue of their sovereignty is not moot at all.

If our billions spent in 馃嚭馃嚘 got us anything positive in return it has to be the litmus test for candidates in upcoming elections. You and your team should contact @RobertKennedyJr and see if he鈥檚 willing to give some history lessons. It might help voters take u seriously

With respect, u r clearly splitting hairs when U attempt to justify Imperial intervention based on the manner in which that intervention took place. There is no lite surgery & whether the Imperial knife cuts deep does not change the fact that it always cuts.
