It's extraordinary and extraordinarily dangerous. We need an American president who will declare a climate emergency, putting us on a path of mass mobilization for a just transition from a dirty to a clean economy. Not later. NOW.
At our @UN Headquarters in New York, we can feel the deteriorating air quality as smoke from the wildfires in Canada moves south. With global temperatures on the rise, the need to urgently reduce wildfire risk is critical. We must make peace with nature. We cannot give up.

We needed this in 2016 when the DNC first kneecapped Bernie. It's too late now. We should still try but it's way too late to stop. It's all mitigation and disaster relief at this point. The data is clear.

Hmmm. I wonder, if climate change isn't being sold to us, like pharma. We need to investigate further, deeper into what our government wants us to believe, dear Marianne, on this one. "Climate Emergency" takes us to the place the plandemic took us. Dig deeper, dear.

Agreed. From us, and from the rest of the world. Only the willfully blind can put this on the back-burner of priorities.. Our short-term profit society is killing the Earth, and her people and and animals.

Emergency declarations don't often serve the people's interests. As we've seen with the recent pandemic, they can easily serve corrupt power. What people need is information (truth), education, and opportunities to align their interests with one other and with future generations.

While I believe our climate is of upmost importance, how do we know that the fires in Canada were'n't manufactured to push their carbon/tracking agenda?
